The invention relates to the field of displays for visual information. The proposed matrix displays comprise a screen which is provided with a device for supporting same and has the following secured thereon: one or more matrices of light emitters with transistor switches for controlling the brightness of the aforesaid light emitters, and a matrix of bus-bars for the electrical commutation of said light emitters with electronic switches and with a power supply and a controller. In a first embodiment, a louver-like screen consisting of vertical screen strips with light-emitter matrices thereon is adjustably suspended on a rod. In another embodiment, the screen with light-emitter matrices is in the form of a mesh with translucent flexible and elastic cells or with a flexible and elastic material having a matt black anti-glare coating or with translucent or transparent cells. The display provides an increase in energy savings and makes it possible for different viewers to observe images on a common screen from different viewing points.
