<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, in which both supply of a recording medium to a sheet feed cassette and retrieval of the recording medium that has been recorded can be performed from the front side of the image forming apparatus, and the sheet feed cassette, a sheet feed cover, and a sheet discharge tray can be easily set to respective proper positions corresponding to the size of the recording medium in changing the size of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the sheet feed cassette 20, the sheet feed cover 40, and the sheet discharge tray 50, wherein the sheet feed cassette 20 and the sheet discharge tray 50 are the front side of an image forming apparatus body 1. The sheet cassette 20 is attached at the lower side of the sheet discharge tray 50 and extended to protrude the image forming apparatus body 1 when the size of the recording medium is expanded. A sheet discharge auxiliary member 55 partially comprising a recording medium receiving surface of the sheet discharge tray 50 is provided in the sheet feed cover 40. The sheet discharge auxiliary member 55 is configured to be slidable to the sheet feed cover 40 and integrally attachable to and detachable from the sheet feed cassette. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
