<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface of a portable terminal capable of efficiently retrieving and downloading a plurality of music distributed on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal is connected to a host PC to acquire a list of media files, and then to display the list thereon. The media displayed as a list are displayed as follows to allow a user to easily identify attributes of respective media and to perform selection: media stored in the portable terminal are displayed in a first mode; media stored in the host PC are displayed in a second mode; media that are not stored in the host PC and are available on the network without purchasing are displayed in a fourth mode, and media that need to be purchased are displayed in a fifth mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
