The present invention relates to the novel anthelmintic compound tetrahydro- furan-2- carboxylic acid-[3-(2,3,5,6-tetrahydro-imidazo[2,1-b]thiazol-6-yl)- phenyl]-amide and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts and th e stereochemically isomeric forms thereof, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising said novel compound, processes for preparing said compound and compositions, and the use thereof as a medicine, in particular in treatment, control and prevention of endo- and ectoparasite infections in wa rm- blooded animals.
