<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a product in consideration of only calling a customer's attention to the product while performing count display for indicating the number of times of removal of a connecting body from a display base in a product display system in which the product is detachably fixed to the display base (control unit) 1 for displaying the product (cellular phone) 92 via the connecting body (connector box) 2. <P>SOLUTION: The product display system includes: a counter 13 for counting the number of times of removal of the connecting body from the display base; a display device 8 provided separately from the display base and the connecting body, and displaying a count value of the counter; and a communication means for transmitting the count value from the counter to the display device based on a command from a switch 81 provided in the display device. The count value of the counter is displayed on the display device 8 provided separately from the display base and the connecting body so as to eliminate the installation of the display device on the display base.
