<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which, when scheduled recording is not executed, executes a divide-and-copy operation. <P>SOLUTION: In an embodiment, the recording device comprises an input/output unit, a retention unit, a signal processing unit, and an input/output control unit. The input/output unit supplies a copy object to a network and also acquires a copy object from the network. The retention unit retains a copy object therein. The signal processing unit inputs to the retention unit the copy object which is acquired via the input/output unit, and the input/output unit outputs the copy object retained by the retention unit in an output possible manner. When a copy object is input or output by the signal processing unit or the input/output unit, the input/output control unit detects that the copy object is arbitrarily divided, and, when the copy object is divided, that a copy object whose dividing point is the end and a copy object whose dividing point is the beginning of the divided copy object each have the continuity obtained by dividing one and same copy object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
