<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction device, a video decoding device, and a synchronous reproduction method, which are capable of reproducing an edited video stream correctly on the basis of a display time stamp. <P>SOLUTION: A reproduction operation reception section 80 receives a reproduction operation of a video stream containing plural edited units and specifies a reproduction start position of the video stream. When reproducing the video stream encompassing the edited units, an offset calculation section 115 calculates an offset value for offsetting a display time stamp of a picture so that the display time stamp increases monotonously with the title clock times. A video recorder 130 decodes pictures from the video stream and excludes, from the display targets, a picture whose post-offset display time stamp of a decoded picture is smaller than the post-offset display time stamp of a picture at the reproduction start position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
