<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid-based composite fiber applicable to a nonwoven fabric, the composite fiber having low heat shrinkage, flexibility, excellent bulkiness, and excellent bulk elasticity. <P>SOLUTION: A polylactic acid-based composite fiber 10 comprises: a first component 1 containing poly L-lactic acid having a melting point of 165°C or more; and a second component 2 containing aliphatic polyester containing a repeating unit composed of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component having a melting point of 100-130°C, and a glycol component, and is obtained by composite spinning so that the second component 2 is exposed on 20% or more of the fiber surface. The composite fiber has crimps in a lengthwise direction of the fiber, and the number of the crimps is 5 pcs./25 mm or more and 24 pcs./25 mm or less when the composite fiber is subjected to heat treatment at a temperature 5°C higher than a melting point of aliphatic polyester, and the number of the crimps is increased by 5 pcs./25 mm or less between before and after the heat treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
