<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling an oil pump and a device therefor that improve fuel efficiency and miniaturize an electrically-operated oil pump to be more economical. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling an oil pump for a vehicular transmission 50, including a mechanical oil pump 60 that is driven by an engine, the electrically-operated oil pump 70 that is driven by a motor, and a controller 30 that controls shifting of the mechanical oil pump 60 and the electrically-operated oil pump 70, has a first step of driving the mechanical oil pump 60 within a predetermined time just after an engine 40 is started in response to a command signal from the controller 30 and a second step of shifting the system into the electrically-operated oil pump 70 after a predetermined time lapses and when a low output less than the capacity of the electrically-operated oil pump 70 is requested in response to a command signal from the controller 30, and shifting the system into the mechanical oil pump 60 when a high output more than the capacity of the electrically-operated oil pump 70 is requested in response to a command signal from the controller 30, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
