<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium air battery advantageous for maintaining the original performance for a long time, suppressing evaporation of aqueous electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode 1 containing lithium, a solid electrolyte 3 having lithium conductivity, an aqueous electrolyte 4 on a positive electrode side, and a porous positive electrode 5 from which air is supplied are respectively arranged in this order in a lithium air battery.
