<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsizable speaker apparatus with high directivity. <P>SOLUTION: A first speaker unit 101 has a diaphragm oriented in a predetermined direction. A second speaker unit 102 has a diaphragm oriented in a predetermined direction, and is separated from the first speaker unit by a distance d of 0.17 m or more but less than 0.51 m in a direction orthogonal to the predetermined direction. A third speaker unit 103 has a diaphragm oriented in the opposite direction from a predetermined direction, and is separated from the first speaker unit by the distance d in the opposite direction from the predetermined direction. A fourth speaker unit 104 has a diaphragm oriented in the opposite direction from a predetermined direction, and is separated from the second speaker unit by the distance d in the opposite direction from the predetermined direction.
