The method involves manufacturing U-shaped concrete construction elements (2) that are transported to the construction site for a swimming pool basin (1). The construction elements are joined together to form the basin, where an inner covering (13) is arranged on an inner side of walls and bottom of the basin. The inner covering is arranged before the construction elements are transported to the construction site for the basin. The construction elements are mutually connected by self-locking dowels, and have a floor part and two side wall parts.
