<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drive unit for a hand held power tool which is improved in cooling effect. <P>SOLUTION: A hand held power device having the drive unit 2 includes: a stator 8 which has a longitudinal length L between two commutator ends 10 having terminal end elements 12, and is disposed in a drive housing 6; a rotor 14 which has at least one permanent magnet 16 provided in a housing space 20 demarcated by the stator 8 and the terminal end element 12, and is rotatably supported to the terminal end element 12 by a drive shaft 18; and a fan 22 which is connected operatively to the drive shaft 18, and in which a cooling air flow K is generated from one stator end toward to the other stator end 10 between the housing inner surface 26 and the housing outer surface 28 of the drive housing 6. A plurality of rebounding faces 32 are formed on the stator outer surface 28, and these rebounding faces 32 are extended so as to be orthogonal to a longitudinal axis L of the stator 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
