PURPOSE: A step type exercise device is provided to enable a user to adjust intensity according to the physical strength of a user. CONSTITUTION: A step type exercise device comprises a footstool(10) in which the feet of a user is put, a spring which supports the footstool by elasticity, a case which comes into contact with the lower surface of the footstool, a supporting plate(30) for supporting the case, a perpendicular frame(50) which is arranged vertical to the supporting plate, a buffer unit for buffing the load delivered to the footstool, a horizontal frame(60) which is installed in the end of the perpendicular frame, and a disc(73).
