<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable extending device that makes it possible to save a worker's labor in cable extending work. <P>SOLUTION: The cable extending device 1 is detachably installed in the installation path 2 of a cable 3 or in proximity to the installation path 2 and extends the cable 3 along the installation path 2. The device includes: a cable extending apparatus 11 that pulls a cable 3 in a desired direction to extend the cable 3 by driving a motor 111 built therein with the cable 3 held therein; a pressure detecting glove 12 that has therein a pressure detecting sensor 121 for detecting pressure applied when a worker grabs the cable 3 and can be worn by a worker; and a control box 13 that is connected to the cable extending apparatus 11 and the pressure detecting glove 12 through a communication cable 14 and controls the driving of the motor 111 and the grip on the cable 3 in the cable extending apparatus 11 according to pressure detected at the pressure detecting sensor 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
