<p>The device (1) has a filter tearing roller pair (4) arranged after a clamping conveyer system (2) such that filter cigarettes are conveyed in a longitudinal direction along a conveyor path through the conveyor system and the roller pair, where conveying speed of the conveyer system is smaller than conveying speed of the roller pair. A filter tearing roller has an axle that is loaded by a spring, and the conveyor system has two opposite belt conveyors, where the cigarettes are clamped between the conveyors. A cigarette slicing device is arranged after another clamping conveyer system (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for decomposing of a filter cigarette.</p> |
