PURPOSE: A whistle for self-defense is provided to request helps from others by blowing the whistle in case of emergency, to damage to a criminal by spraying capsaicin powder or to spray a tear solution, thereby escaping from an emergency situation. CONSTITUTION: A whistle for self-defense comprises a body(1), an injecting unit(2), and a lateral cover(3). The body comprises a hollow unit for building-in a ball(4) and a through-hole(11) is formed on the top. The injection unit supplies air to the hollow unit. The lateral cover is joined to an opening formed in one lateral surface of the body. The lateral cover comprises an ample(6) and an opening(7). The ample stores an irritant solution. The opening opens the ample so that the irritant solution flows into the hollow unit.
