PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger for a mobile electronic apparatus which is applied to many types of mobile electronic apparatuss, facilitates attaching a mobile electronic apparatus or a battery by insertion, and prevents the inserted mobile electronic apparatus from dropping off. SOLUTION: In this charger, a battery of a mobile electronic apparatus is inserted into housing space 2 having a contact face 3 so as to abut against the contact face 3. The terminal of the battery is connected with charging terminals 6, 6 mounted on the contact face to charge the battery. Insertion guides 4a are installed on both side faces perpendicular to the contact face of the housing space 2 and on the battery, respectively. A plate turning arm 8, of which the turning central shaft 7 is the edge facing the contact face in the opening of the housing space 2, is provided turnably in the internal direction of the housing space 2 against elasticity of a spring. Turning shafts pivotably provided on the free ends of the turning arm 7 are fixed to a pair of tapered rollers 10, 10, each of which the central direction becomes the minor diameter.
