PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device wherein the exchanging time or cleaning time of a platen can be suitably grasped, and to provide a control program. SOLUTION: In the case edge-less printing is performed to recording paper, the amount of ink swelled out from the tip edge part of the recording paper in the carrying direction of the recording paper and discharged onto a platen is calculated and integrated by treatment in S7, and further, the amount of ink swelled out from the rear edge part in the recording paper and discharged onto the platen is calculated and integrated in S8, thus the exchanging time or cleaning time of the platen can be suitably grasped.
