PURPOSE: A method for coating a squeeze roll of a pickling line to improve durability and a squeeze roll using the same are provided to prevent the corrosion of a squeeze roll that presses the surface of strip passing through a pickling line. CONSTITUTION: A method for coating a squeeze roll of a pickling line comprises the steps of: forming a first anti-corrosion layer of a rubber material on the peripheral surface of a cylindrical metal roll(S100), forming a second anti-corrosion layer of a rubber material on a rotary shaft rotating the metal roll and the side of the metal roll where the rotary shaft is exposed(S200), forming an inner skin that covers the outer surface of the first anti-corrosion layer(S300), and forming an outer skin that covers the inner skin(S400). The first anti-corrosion layer has the same length as the metal roll and is fixed to the metal roll not to be exposed to both ends of the metal roll. |
