PURPOSE: A capsule endoscope is provided to operate a length adjusting device to extend the length of the capsule endoscope. CONSTITUTION: A capsule endoscope comprises an optical dome(110), a first capsule(120), a second capsule(130), and a length adjusting device(140). The first capsule is combined with the optical dome. The first capsule comprises a lens(121), a lighting part(122), and an image sensor(123). The second capsule is distanced from a first capsule with an interval. The second capsule comprises a power supply unit(131). The length adjusting device connects the first capsule to the second capsule. The first and the second capsules are made of plastic materials harmless to a human body.
