PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter that can determine occurrence of zero cross with high precision with a simple configuration in which means for detecting reactor curent is not provided.SOLUTION: A converter CNV has a reactor 14, a lower arm switch Sn and an upper arm switch Sp, and controls the switches Sn, Sp to accumulate power from one of terminals Pin, Pout into the reactor 14 and output the power accumulated in the reactor 14 to the other terminal of the terminals Pin, Pout. When a control signal is output to the control terminal of each of the switches Sn, Sp to set one of the switches Sn, Sp from a close state to an open state and set the other switch from an open state to a close state, a dead time is provided, the open/close state of the switches Sn, Sp is adjusted on the basis of the deviation between the output voltage as the voltage of an output terminal Pout and a predetermined target voltage, thereby controlling to approach the output voltage to the target voltage, and occurrence of zero cross at the reactor current is determined on the basis of the state of the control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
