Device for producing a spunbonded nonwoven web from filaments, comprises spinneret (1), a cooling chamber (7) into which processing air for cooling the filaments, is introducible, a monomer extraction device (3) arranged between the spinneret and the cooling chamber, a stretching unit, and a depositing device for depositing the filaments for the spunbonded nonwoven web. The cooling chamber is divided into two cooling chamber sections. The process air from a first upper cooling chamber section (7a) is aspirated to the monomer extraction device with a first volume flow. Device for producing a spunbonded nonwoven web from filaments, comprises spinneret (1), a cooling chamber (7) into which processing air for cooling the filaments, is introducible, a monomer extraction device (3) arranged between the spinneret and the cooling chamber, a stretching unit, and a depositing device for depositing the filaments for the spunbonded nonwoven web. The cooling chamber is divided into two cooling chamber sections. The process air from a first upper cooling chamber section, is aspirated to the monomer extraction device with a first volume flow. The process air discharged from the first upper cooling chamber section is aspirated to a second lower cooling chamber section (7b) with a second volume flow. The ratio of the first- and the second volume flow is 0.1:0.35, preferably 0.12:0.25. An independent claim is also included for producing the spunbonded nonwoven web from filaments made of thermoplastic material, comprises (a) spinning the filaments using a spinneret, (b) introducing the spun filaments into the cooling chamber through the monomer extraction device, for cooling the filaments with the process air, (c) aspirating the process air from the first upper cooling chamber section to the monomer extraction device with the first volume flow, (d) aspirating the process air discharged from the first upper cooling chamber section to the second lower cooling chamber section with the second volume flow, (e) introducing the filaments discharged from the cooling chamber, into a stretching unit, and (f) depositing the filaments on the storage device for the spunbonded nonwoven web. |
