<p>Disclosed are non-aqueous carrier compositions capable of forming a gel structure, having a low molecular mass N-acyl glutamic acid diamide having a straight-chain alkyl group, a low molecular mass N-acyl glutamic acid diamide having a branched-chain alkyl group, at least one gel-promoting solvent, and at least one high molecular mass block copolymer having at least one hard segment and at least one soft segment, and at least one solvent capable of solubilizing the at least one hard segment and/or the at least one soft segment of the block copolymer, at least one oil-soluble polar modified polymer; and at least one solvent capable of solubilizing the at least one oil-soluble polar modified polymer, and optionally at least one active ingredient, wherein the composition has a hardness value ranging from about 30 to about 300 gf, a melting point of about 50° C. or higher, and does not require use of wax as a structuring agent. Methods of making and using the compositions are also disclosed.</p> |
