PURPOSE: A novel compound and an organic electronic device using the same are provided to ensure excellent efficiency, driving voltage, and lifetime. CONSTITUTION: A novel compounds used as an organic electronic device is denoted by chemical formula 1. The organic electronic device contains a first electrode, a second electrode, and one or more organic layers placed between the first and second electrodes. The organic layer includes a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, or a hole injection and transport layer. The organic layer contains a light emitting layer containing the compound of chemical formula 1. The compound of chemical formula 1 is a host material in the light emitting layer containing a dopant compound of chemical formula 7(M1L10L11L12).
