The present invention provides a mobile terminal including a cover with use convenience and improved protection performance. The mobile terminal comprises: a body unit including a display unit on a front surface of a user; and a cover fixed on a rear surface of the body unit to open/close the display unit. The cover comprises: a first cover unit fixed on the rear surface; a second cover unit formed to open/close the display unit; and a connection unit extended along one direction to connect the first and second cover unit to be able to rotate, and including a hinge shaft with an elliptical cross section, and a hinge hole part inserted into the hinge shaft and being able to be deformed.
