Disclosed is a tomography apparatus which includes a data acquisition part which acquires a first image and a second image which are partial images, by using data acquired in a first angle range corresponding to a first point and a second angle range corresponding to a second point and facing the first angle range by performing a tomography scan on a moving object, and which acquires first information which indicates the motion amount of the object by using the first image and the second image, and an image reconstructor reconstructing a target image which indicates the object at a target point, based on the first information. So, motion artifact generated in a reconstructed tomography image can be reduced.
