The housing component (3) has a stator housing (4) and a rotor can (6) formed as a single-piece injection molded component. The stator housing and the rotor can are produced from a plastic material or a composite material such as polyphenylene sulfide. A hollow space (134) is formed between the stator housing and the rotor can, where supports (142) are arranged in the hollow space. The stator housing has a contact element (310) for connecting with a pump housing (14) in a form-fit manner. An independent claim is also included for a pump with an electric motor.
