PURPOSE: A self-power generator using inertial acceleration is provided to reduce power consumption by maintaining inertia moment by installing an acceleration motor. CONSTITUTION: A self-power generator(100) using inertial acceleration comprises an inertial acceleration drum(200), a self-power generation motor(300), an acceleration motor(500), a power transfer unit, and a control module. The inertial acceleration drum continuously rotates according to rotational inertia formed in inertial weights(230). When the power is supplied, the self-power generation motor provides rotary force through a rotary shaft. When the power is cut off, the self-power generation motor generates power itself according to the rotary power of the inertial acceleration drum. The acceleration motor instantaneously provides accelerated rotary power according to the order of the control module in order to recover the RPM of the inertial acceleration drum. The power transfer unit transfers the accelerated rotary power to a spur gear of the rotary shaft. The control module brings the rotation of the inertial acceleration drum back to reference RPM by operating the acceleration motor when the rotation of the inertial acceleration drum is below the reference RPM.
