PURPOSE: A device for testing the durability of a water lubrication ball bearing under high axial loads is provided to obtain a method for evaluating the durability of a water lubrication ball bearing utilized for a nuclear power plant structure and reduce a time for measuring the ball bearing because two ball bearings are tested at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for testing the durability of a water lubrication ball bearing under high axial loads comprises a main frame(102), a bearing fixing part(120), a driving part, a load applying part(121), a water circulation part, and a control panel(174). The main frame composes a body. The bearing fixing part is fixed to the main frame to be detached. The driving unit applies a torque to a shaft of the bearing fixing part. The load applying part is fixed to the main frame and comprises a casing in which a part of the bearing fixing part is inserted. The water circulation part is connected to the casing of the load applying part, thereby providing an underwater environment to the ball bearing. The control panel controls operations of the driving unit and water circulation part collecting information of a torque applied to the bearing, a rotational speed, and loads and displaying. |
