The box (1) has a metal container (2) to accommodate a body, and a cover (3) associated with the container to close the container. A fine film (9) is directly applied to an interior surface (2a) of the container and to an interior surface of the cover to protect the container and the cover against aggressiveness of decomposition fluids of a dead body. The film has a paint coat applied directly on the surfaces. Another film (9') is applied directly to an exterior surface of the container and to an exterior surface (3a') of the cover to cover the container and the cover.
