PURPOSE: A multipurpose road with a cutoff plate for preventing an overflow is provided to minimize flood damage by preventing overflowing seawater or river water from flowing into land. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose road with a cutoff plate for preventing an overflow comprises a concrete structure, a road plate, and an actuator. The concrete structure is installed on a bank(200) relatively higher than the water level of the sea using anchor bolts(114). The bottom end of the road plate is rotatably assembled on one end of the top surface of the concrete structure and is inserted into the ground. The road plate covers arrangement grooves formed on the top surface of the concrete structure. The front end of the actuator is connected to the bottom surface of the road plate, and the actuator rotates the road plate according to an external signal.
