Moreover, configuring the lands (18) of the outer cutting edges (20) from the primary relief alone increases the widths of the helical flutes (16) between the lands (18), that is, the widths of the chip pockets, making it possible to secure chip pockets of sufficient size regardless of the increase in core diameter (d) and limiting chip clogging while making it possible to improve bending strength by providing slopes at the bottoms of the flutes.
