The powertrain has hydrodynamic retarder (1) for wear-braking of drive train. A first rotor (27) is provided at hydrodynamic retarder, while a second rotor (28) is provided at electric machine (2) for wear-braking of drive train. The two rotors are decoupled from the power transmission in the drive train by a clutch. Both rotors are separately connected via a common power interface at the separating clutch (13).
