<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress peeling-off on a joint section between a first member and a second member of belt molding fitted along the window opening edge of a vehicle door. <P>SOLUTION: A first member 18 fitted along the lower edge section of the window opening edge is formed by extrusion. A second member 19 fitted along a corner section of the window opening edge is formed by injection molding, and the first member and the second member are jointed. At part of an exterior-side sidewall 33 of the second member 19 in a longitudinal direction, an extendable section 38 is thinly formed so that elastic deformation with respect to a tensile load may be larger than at other portions. When a temperature lowers, a contraction component at other portions of the exterior-side sidewall 33 is absorbed in an elongation component of the extendable section 38 to suppress the contraction of the exterior-side sidewall 33 in the longitudinal direction as the whole. This reduces the load applied to a joint portion 37 between the first member 18 and the second member 19 and suppresses the peeling-off of the joint section 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
