The device comprises a water discharge channel (W) that is arranged in a shaft seal (4) of a shaft covering (5) in outer seal lip (6) of a profiled element (7). An integrated water drain gutter (8) is arranged between a base (G) of the profiled element and seal lip. A window guide (3) of the water discharge channel is extended diagonally along downward direction of travel direction (F) and is arranged in a side plate (1) of the water drain gutter such that the water handoff of the water drain gutter to outside of the window guide is enabled.
