The first microsphere fraction is characterized by the relation of lactide and glycolide monomer links 50 mole %:50 mole % and microsphere size 0.4 to 7 mcm. The second microsphere fraction is characterized by the relation of lactide and glycolide monomer links 75 mole %:25 mole % and microsphere size 20 to 90 mcm.
