<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroke simulator which can suppress reaction force characteristics from being affected by the dependence on stroke velocity. <P>SOLUTION: Seal members 2ae are arranged between a peripheral surface of a piston 2a and a cylinder 2b, and a functional fluid 2e is arranged in a space composed by a peripheral surface of a piston body 2aa, both of the seal members 2ae and the inner wall surface of the cylinder 2b, and the functional fluid 2e can be moved in responce to the movement of the piston 2a. and in this structure, the reaction force on the stroke of brake pedal 1 is generated based on shearing resistance acted on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder 2b as a facing surface by controlling a viscosity of the functional fluid 2e arranged between the piston 2a and cylinder 2b with magnetic field or electric field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
