METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SYNTHESIS GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing synthesis gas, capable of attaining increase in load in biomass treatment and higher quality of the synthesis gas.

SOLUTION: The method and apparatus for producing synthesis gas include: supplying raw material fluid F2 including a biomass M1 from an upstream end 22a side toward a downstream end 22b side in a raw material fluid passage 22 separated from the outside by a reaction tube wall 21, and heating the raw material fluid F2 in the raw material fluid passage 22 from the outside of the raw material fluid passage 22 through the reaction tube wall 21 by a first heating means F1. The raw material fluid passage 22 includes a first gasification area 23 where a first gasification reaction occurs in which at least part of the biomass is gasified by the heating conducted by the first heating means F1, and a second gasification area 25 located closer to the downstream end 22b side than the first gasification area 23. Additional heating of the raw material fluid F2 is performed by a second heating means 30 in the second gasification area 25.
