<p>The present invention relates to an article storage apparatus comprising: a plurality of racks which store an article and which are sequentially connected with each other; a conveyor for moving the racks; an input device to which a management number for the article stored in the racks is inputted, and which generates at least one management number data based on the inputted management number and transmits the generated management number data; a slave controller which controls an operation of the conveyor on the basis of the management number data applied from the input device so as to move the racks to preset positions and count the sequence of the racks; and a wireless communication device which wirelessly transmits the management number data of the input device to the slave controller, and wirelessly transmits a control signal of the slave controller to the conveyor. According to the present invention, since the slave controller searches for the rack corresponding to the management number data while counting the sequence of the racks, the rack can be accurately searched for without using unique recognition members separately provided to each of the racks. Further, the sequence of the racks is reset by a resetting means, thereby preventing a counting error.</p> |
