摘要 FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method of producing blue cobalt-aluminium pigment involves calcination of a spent aluminium-cobalt-molybdenum catalyst at 500-550°C for 40-80 hours in a medium of air with water vapour and/or an inert gas containing 0.2-18.0% oxygen and then crushing the spent aluminium-cobalt-molybdenum catalyst. Crushing is carried out in a disintegrator-type impact action apparatus with one-pass processing energy of 17 kJ/kg, after which molybdenum oxide is extracted by washing with a solution KOH or KCOat temperature of 80°C for 3 hours.EFFECT: invention increases covering power and reduces the particle size of the pigment, increases concentration of cobalt in the pigment and enables to extract a valuable component - molybdenum oxide.1 tbl, 4 ex
