<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based graphite lubricant for a plunger that is superior in dispersion stability of graphite. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based graphite lubricant for a plunger includes graphite as a solid lubricant, and an organic bentonite swollen by a mineral oil and a surfactant that are used as a graphite dispersant. The organic bentonite is preferably obtained by reacting a bentonite with a quaternary ammonium salt. The lubricant is prepared by a method which includes a first step of causing the organic bentonite to swell in the mineral oil, a second step of adding a surfactant, and a third step of adding and dispersing graphite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
