The implantable vascular access device (21) has a hollow body (25) that is provided with a penetrating membrane (22). A hose (24) is attached to the hollow body with a container system. A wireless readable memory unit (26) is provided for requesting the information from the access device. The information is comprised of device identification, a personal identification, a drug identification or a drug overdose. The memory unit is provided as a passive or active Radio frequency identificationchip. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a dosing device for the automated control of dosage of a drug; and (2) a method for automatically dispensing a drug in a vascular system through the implantable access device and the dosing device.
