DIAGNOSTIC METHOD FOR BLOOD TUMOR BY SUGAR PROFILING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method which predicts the risk of future onset of adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) and a disease type in an asymptomatic carrier state.

SOLUTION: A diagnostic method for blood tumor predicts the risk of future onset and a disease state for a diagnostic object on the basis of binding assay between a plurality of lectins fixed on a solid support and a sugar chain on the surface of a pathology sample derived from the diagnostic object. The diagnostic method for blood tumor by sugar profiling diagnoses the disease type including leukemia and lymphoma of adult T-cell leukemia.
