Provided are a cell selection method and terminal, the method comprising: a terminal obtains the information of a neighboring cell; the terminal determines that the obtained information of the neighboring cell includes the cell information of a second access network; the terminal filters the neighboring cell for a cell corresponding to the cell information of the second access network, and selects a target cell from the filtered neighboring cell during cell reselection or handover.
