<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive waste disposal container in which radioactive waste is more simply encapsulated. <P>SOLUTION: A radioactive waste disposal container 10 includes: a bottomed cylindrical container body 14 whose outer surface is formed of a titanium material; and a lid body 16 whose outer surface is formed of the titanium material, and which closes an opening of the container body 14, and has an encapsulation member 18 which is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the container body 14 and the outer peripheral surface of the lid body 16, formed of the titanium material, and seals the container body 14 and the lid body 16 in order to seal the container body 14 and the lid body 16 by performing solid phase diffusion junction at β transform temperature. Hydrogen component layers containing hydrogen are formed on the encapsulation surfaces of the container body 14, the lid body 16 and the encapsulation member 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
