<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical composition containing micronized tanaproget. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains: crystalline cellose; croscarmellose sodium; anhydrous lactose; magnesium stearate; micronized calcium disodium edetate; and micronized sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate. The composition is effective for anticonception and hormone replacement therapy, also effective for the treatment and/or prevention of the hormone dependent tumor of myometrium fibroid, benign prostatic hypertrophy, benign and malign neoplastic disease, dysfunctional bleeding, uterine leiomyomas, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, cancer and adenocarcinoma of pituitary, endometrium, kidney, ovary, breast, prostate and others, and also effective for the preparation of medicines useful for those diseases.
