<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing program capable of appropriately removing density unevenness including a low-frequency component, or capable of calculating an appropriate banding estimation value or an appropriate particle estimation value which are not influenced by the low-frequency component, by reducing the edge effect. <P>SOLUTION: An original image b1 and an image obtained by inverting the original image on the left edge thereof are connected to each other to generate an image b2. Subsequently, the image b2 and an image obtained by inverting the image b2 on the lower edge thereof are connected to each other to generate a mirror image b3. Compared to the image a2, in the mirror image, the density on a connection line K changes continuously. Therefore, the edge effect is reduced by performing 2D discrete Fourier transformation on the image. Accordingly, the low-frequency component is appropriately removed from a spectrum subjected to the 2D discrete Fourier transformation; thus, the density unevenness is appropriately removed from the original image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
