A STAIR STRINGER Abstract A scaffold assembly (10) including a stair flight (11). Each flight (11) has a pair of generally parallel co-extensive stringers (12) between which there extends, so as to be supported thereby, a plurality of tread members (14). The tread members (14) are generally longitudinally horizontally oriented and have other generally planar surfaces (15) to provide stair surfaces upon which a user will walk. Each tread member (14) is retained in position by a part (21) and catch members o (23). |
