PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve instantaneous pull-in by a large-scale system including a master device, a repeater, and a slave device and to improve tolerance to a plurality of long-time-length impulsive noises to secure stabler data communication. SOLUTION: A disclosed multiplex transmission device multiplexes and transmits data. The multiplex transmission device includes a demultiplexing process unit 73 which separates data from a reception signal. The demultiplexing process unit 73 includes A/D-GSW which performs gain control over a received multiplex signal of all channels on a time axis, and TIMGSW 96 which performs gain control over signals on a frequency axis of the individual channels into which the multiplex signal of all the channels on the time axis is converted. The A/D-GSW includes a plurality of level detection points for level detection on the reception signal on the time axis, extracts a center level value from a plurality of level values at the plurality of level detection points, and performs gain control with the extracted center level value.
